Alice Munro

Biography

Alice Munro was born July 10, 1931 in Wingham, Ontario. She is a short story writer and a novelist. She graduated with a B.A. in Honours English from the University of Western Ontario in 1952. She married James Munro in 1951. She has three daughters: Sheila, Jenny, and Andrea. She married Gerald Fremlin in 1976.
