Ann Charney

Ann Charney was born in Poland and raised in Montreal. She was educated at McGill University and the Sorbonne in Paris. She has published both fiction and non-fiction. She has been a political columnist for Maclean's, a contributor to Saturday Night and other leading publications. Her short fiction has been published in Ms, Descant, Chatelaine, Saturday Night, Paris Transcontinental, and others. Her work has also appeared in the anthology Beruf: Terrorist (Germany: C.H. Beck, 1994). Her novels have been published in the US, France, Italy and Germany
