My story, The Ultimate Mystery, is a finalist for the 2015 Derringer Award for best short crime fiction in the long short story category. It was published in the anthology, World Enough and Crime by Carrick Publishing, November, 2014.
Ruth Miller was born and grew up in Toronto. After completing her B.A at the University of Toronto, she spent a year in Paris at the Sorbonne. For a while she taught High School French, and then Music and Movement for young children. She returned to OISE to complete her M.ED. She worked for Toronto Public Health for 20 years as a Sexual Health Educator.
Ruth is the author of three picture books for children all in rhyming text. She is currently working on another picture book. Her articles have appeared in the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail as well as in Sexual Health Publications. She has three grown sons, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren. She and her husband live in Toronto.
