Bill Schermbrucker was born in Eldoret, Kenya, in 1938. He has lived in Vancouver since 1964. He was a founding member of Capilano College and former editor of The Capilano Review. Writing is now his full-time occupation. He is currently working on a sequel to his novel Mimosa.
