Raheel Raza was born in Pakistan and came to Canada in 1989. She is an award- winning journalist, public speaker, poet, author, playwright and interfaith advocate. A tireless campaigner for gender equality, an activist for human rights internationally, and a leader among Muslim women, Raza actively promotes interfaith relations and appears frequently in print, radio and television media to reveal and debate Muslim issues. Her mandate in life is “there is unity in diversity and humanity is one community.”
