Linda grew up in Surrey, B. C. and attended U.B.C. where she earned a M.F.A. in Creative Writing with a University Fellowship. She lived in Central B. C. for several years and much of the inspiration for her collection of poems SHOWCASE ANIMALS came from that experience. She worked for two railways and the Forestry Dept. in Prince George. The novel VANCOUVER! was written after Linda returned to the coast to live in Langley, B.C. The epic scale book includes Pauline Johnson and Emily Carr as main characters. Linda is currently at work on another novel.
