A former teacher, Kristin took up writing full-time in 1997 and hasn't looked back since. She spends the bulk of her time in front of her computer, clacking out fiction and non-fiction books for readers from 8 - 18. She has written a number of picture books as well but has yet to succeed in convincing a publisher to publish them.
When not writing, Kristin is often found visiting schools and libraries. She has twice been selected to tour for TD Canadian Children's Book Week -- once to Southern Ontario and once to the Lower North Shore of Quebec. She recently toured Northern BC with three other authors to promote BC Book Prize nominated books.
