Elizabeth Bachinsky was born in Regina and was raised in Prince George and Maple Ridge, BC. Her poetry has appeared in literary journals, anthologies, and on film in Canada, the United States, England, and Ireland and has been translated for publication in France and China. She teaches creative writing at Douglas College where she is the poetry editor for Event magazine. She lives in Vancouver, BC.
