Debbie Spring, a resident of Thornhill, Ontario, has been a published writer since 1985. Specializing in children's books, her portfolio includes short stories, plays, non-fiction and fiction picture books, juvenile and Young Adult fiction novels. Her academic background includes an Honour’s degree from York University's Fine Arts Program and writing courses from Humber George Brown and Centennial Colleges. She has spoken to over 5,000 students across Canada about her books and writing, and has been interviewed on CBC radio, CTV, and numerous newspapers.
