Born in Surrey, England, Jillian came to live in Canada with her parents in her teens. In Winnipeg she discovered romance novels. At the same time she wrote short romantic stories. After returning to England to live for a few years, where she began to write full length novels, she returned to Canada and sold her first book to Silhouette Books, Simon & Schuster, New York. She lives in Southern Ontario with her husband and three cats.
