Born in Winnipeg, July 19, 1934. University of Winnipeg, Ba. Winnder of Isbister, Marcus Hyman, Principal Sparling, A & A Baird Scholarships; "A" student, Master's program, Canadian history, University of Toronto graduate school. Critic, reporter/producer/consultant, CBC news and current affairs, since 1962. Documentary on computers won Anik Award in 1965, shown as one of Canada's 100 best documentaries at NFB 50th birthday.
