BIO
Biography

I have just completed my second book and like the rest of the world of writers am now actively seeking a publisher for THE FOUNDLING AND THE BASTARD, a reimagining of the true story of my great-great-grandparents who lived in and around Bath, Somerset during Regency times.  Whether 'the Foundling' ever met Miss Austen I have sadly no idea, but there, that is life!

Any interested agents or publishers don't be shy!

My first published work was a childhood memoir of my awakening to the scandalous truth of my Somerset home; a cult led by The Foundling's grandson - my grandfather!  The Abode of Love was published in 2006 by Mainstream Publishing Co, of Edinburgh, Scotland (Random House UK), Random House Australia and Goose Lane Editions, Canada.  It was ‘Book of the Month’ by the Daily Mail and the subject of a BBC documentary.

Since immigrating to Canada, I have followed my dream, as a full-time reporter for The Hamilton Spectator covering everything from courts and cops to city hall.  I review books for The Oakville News, a daily online ‘newspaper’, ran a book club for many years and like to think I know a ‘good read’ when I read one!

I am disciplined, hardworking and meet deadlines.
