B. Marilyn McCrimmon

Marilyn McCrimmon has been a freelance writer and a secondary/post-secondary counsellor in Victoria, B.C. for more than 30 years. At the same time, she has published countless feature articles on a wide variety of topics (fitness, health, sport, profiles, travel, etc.) in various magazines.  She wrote a weekly (which evolved to monthly) newspaper column on horses for the Times/Colonist Newspaper for 35 years, and wrote a monthly fitness/health column for Focus on Women Magazine for 15 years. 

In addition, she has published two books: Custodian of Yellow Point - A Biography of Gerry Hill (Beach Holme Publishers, 1991) and Facing Changes, Finding Freedom - Canadian Women at Midlife (co-authored with Rosemary Neering, Whitecap Books, 1996). 

Today, she is retired from counselling, but continues to write advertorial and feature articles for various magazines. Marilyn has also just completed her first novel and will be contacting potential agents once the final revisions are complete.
