Carolyn Pogue

Carolyn Pogue is a freelance writer and workshop presenter for children, teens and adults. She tours with the Young Alberta Book Society, and serves as peace-writer-in-residence, connecting Social Studies, Creative Writing and Peacemaking. Carolyn offers adult writing workshops through universities, colleges, writing centres and religious institutions. She has travelled widely in the world, and has a particular interest in meeting with peacemakers. Her writing appears in periodicals such as Peace Magazine, The United Church Observer, and Canadian Living magazine. Carolyn is the co-founder of The Art of Peace: A Camp for Kids and the Calgary branch of Women in Black. She lives in Calgary, Alberta.
