Deborah Seed

Deborah Seed has freelanced as an editor/writer in Montreal and Toronto, published three books as well as articles and reviews, and taught on and off for 22 years at CEGEPs and high schools. She is fluently bilingual, having done a Masters in Canadian Lit. at Sherbrooke and worked in France and Quebec for 15 years. She began to write professionally in 1980 when Readers' Digest Books hired her to do chapters of how-to books, and she got tired of doing massive rewrites for others. She is now doing a horticulture certificate to become a garden writer/editor--gardening is the current passion--but pays the kids' tuition by teaching and freelancing.
