Donna Stewart was born in Wiarton, Ontario on the Bruce Peninsula. She holds a B.A. from the Univerisity of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from The University of Western Ontario. Donna writes fiction for children and adults and has recently completed her third novel for young readers. Donna writes from her home on the shores of Lake Huron and teaches elementary school in Sauble Beach, Ontario. She finds that the ever changing water and the sight of the boats bobbing in her bay can be either a distraction, or an inspiration, depending on the day.
