Eileen Kernaghan

Eileen Kernaghan lives in New Westminster B.C. She published her first short story when she was eleven, and her second. in Galaxy science fiction magazine,twenty years later. Since then her short stories and poems have appeared in many North American publications, both mainstream and speculative. Her nine historical fantasy novels reflect her lifelong fascination with ancient cultures and lost civilizations. Eileen's most recent YA novels are Wild Talent: a Novel of the Supernatural  and Sophie, in Shadow (2014) , both published by Thistledown Press. Sophie, in Shadow, is shortlisted for a 2015 BC Book Prize (Sheila A. Egoff Prize for Children's Literature).
