Eleanor Millard

Eleanor Millard came to the Yukon for a summer job after completing a BA at UBC in 1965, and finds herself still in love with the North. She has been a social worker, adult educator, Minister of Education, as well as a dishwasher, labourer, and a croupier. At age sixty, with two additional degrees, she had a collection of short stories based in Dawson City published. She has published  her memoirs and is working on a novel while paying the mortgage by being a researcher for the Yukon Legislature and teaching English as a Second Language.
