Biography

Emma McKenna is a mutlidisciplinary writer and author of Chenille or Silk: Poems (Caitlin Press, 2019). She holds a PhD in English and Cultural Studies from McMaster University, and has published articles in Sexualities, Hypatia: Journal of Feminist Philosophy, Women: A Cultural Review, Atlantis: Critical Studies in Gender, Culture, and Social Justice, and Review of Education, Pedagogy, and Cultural Studies. She is an Editorial Board Member of Atlantis: Critical Studies in Gender, Culture, and Social Justice.

Emma is available as a sensitivity reader in the areas of gender, LGBTQIA2S, class, and disability.
