James Strecker

Manitoba born on April 15, 1943, James Strecker is the author of 8 books of poetry, co-author of 2 CD Roms, and editor of 10 books of fiction, poetry, biography, and Canadian crafts. Published internationally as a journalist, poet, columnist, and photographer, he holds an M.A. in Drama (University of Toronto) and, as a human development consultant has been trained and certified in Focusing, Graphoanalysis, and the Intensive Journal. He has often been poet in residence, including CBC radio, and has given hundreds of readings and workshops in Canada, Europe, and the United States. He teaches in the Sheridan College School of Visual Arts and is the Director of Creativity Unlimited Consulting.
