Jane Silcott

Born in Toronto, Jane moved west in the 70s. Her stories, poems, and essays have been published in several Canadian literary magazines and anthologies, first as “A. Jane Hamilton” and then after 2005, as “Jane Silcott.” She has a BA in Creative Writing and English from the University of Victoria and an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC. She lives in Vancouver and teaches for UBC's Writing Centre and SFU's Southbank Writing Program.
