Karen Quevillon

Educated as a philosopher (PhD, Northwestern University) Karen is a novelist and poet who teaches liberal arts, literature and writing courses at Ontario colleges and freelances as a writing coach and developmental editor. Karen's first novel, The Parasol Flower, will be released in August 2020 through Regal House Publishing. She is currently seeking publication for her first poetry collection, Collide-oscope, and finishing a middle grade novel, Spirit Rock


Since 2009, Karen's fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction has appeared in literary journals across North America, such as Geist Magazine, Grain, The Fieldstone Review, In/Words, FreeFall, Cargo Literary, Philosophy Now and others, and she has won awards through The Malahat Review, The Writers’ Union of Canada, Writer’s Digest, and GritLit
