Kate Hargreaves (she/her) was raised in Amherstburg, Ontario but lives and works in Windsor. She holds an MA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor. Kate has worked as an award-winning book designer under the name CorusKate Design and is the author of three books: Leak (Book*hug, 2014), a collection of poetry, Talking Derby (Black Moss, 2013), a book of prose vignettes, and Jammer Star (Orca, 2019) a hi-lo novel for young readers. Her second poetry collection, tend, will be released by Book*hug in Fall 2022. Her writing has also appeared in journals across Canada, the US, and the UK, including filling Station, The Puritan, The Windsor Review, Rampike, Descant, CV2, Augur, Vast Chasm, and Into the Void.
