Kate Hargreaves

Kate Hargreaves (she/her) was raised in Amherstburg, Ontario but lives and works in Windsor. She holds an MA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor where she works as an academic writing advisor. Kate is an award-winning book designer under the name CorusKate Design and is the author of three books: Leak (Book*hug, 2014), a collection of poetry, Talking Derby (Black Moss, 2013), a book of prose vignettes, and Jammer Star (Orca, 2019) a hi-lo novel for young readers. Her second poetry collection, tend, will be released by Book*hug in 2022. Her writing has also appeared in journals across Canada and in the US, including filling Station, The Puritan, The Windsor Review, Rampike, Descant, and Into the Void.
