Laird Stevens

Laird Stevens is a writer, musician and philosopher.  He was born in Canada and currently lives in Montreal.  His recent publications include two novels (Paradise Lost, and The Death Fairy), three books for children (Harris Goes To Paris, Millie The Mouth, and The New Blue Fairy Book), and three academic books, one on grammar (The Fairy Tale Grammar Book) ,  one on writing (How To Write A Story . . . Or An Essay), and one on gender identity (Big World).  He has also recently completed three arithmetic puzzle books (Plus or Minus) and a  board game for children called Private I.  Current projects include The Dashiell Diary, Parts 2 and 3, Paris For Kids, and a number of children's picture books.  He has two main websites, lairdstevens.com and motherandchildlearning.com (see below).   Galensinger.com is a blog containing the first two-and-a-half years of The Dashiell Diary, Part 1: Life Before School.
