Lola Lemire Tostevin

Lola Lemire Tostevin was born in Northern Ontario of French-speaking parents. She writes mainly in English and has published 7 collections of poetry, 3 novels and 1 collection of literary essays. She has translated many writers in French and English, including Anne Hébert's Le Jour n'a d' égal que la nuit, and Michael Ondaatje's Elimination Dance. Several of her books have been translated into French and Italian.

She is presently working on a stage adaptation of her novel, The Other Sister, and an eighth collection of poems.
