Biography

After graduating from Theatre Performance at Humber, Lucie received top honours in English and French Literature at UofT and somehow ended up working in I.T.  She subsequently attended Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre as a screenwriting resident.

Since then, Lucie has written for film and television. She’s received numerous awards for her original screenplays, won the Great Canadian Literary Hunt for fiction and the O’Neill-Karsh award for her first full-length play written in French. 

Most recently, Lucie's short story "Lessons in Cartography" appeared in Carte Blanche.  Her first novel "Lost Dogs" (Cormorant Press) will be in bookstores April 2023.
