Marion Reidel

Photo: Trina Koster Photography, Guelph 2017

Marion writes humorous short fiction and is a spoken word artist. Her characters face familiar dramas yet their tales often end with an unexpected twist. Her first collection, "We Drank Wine", contains linked stories that follow the lives of four women, and their families. They are a satisfying series of satirical tales that blend observation with personal experience. Reidel focuses on the absurdity of ordinary lives and readers will find someone they recognize in these tales.
