Maurice Mierau

Maurice Mierau is a Winnipeg writer, editor, and teacher. He was born in Indiana and grew up in Nigeria, Manitoba, Jamaica, Kansas, and Saskatchewan. His last book of poems, Fear Not, came out with Turnstone in 2008. 
Maurice is associate editor of the Winnipeg-based fiction imprint, Enfield & Wizenty, a subsidiary of Great Plains Publications. He also works as a poetry editor for Contemporary Verse 2. Maurice is past president of the League of Canadian Poets.
