Photo: Laurie Januska 2018

Michael was born and raised in the Border City of Windsor and writes mostly crime fiction set along the Detroit River in the early years of Prohibition. He currently walks a line, residing in Toronto but with his gaze fixed on his hometown. 'One has to get away from it to really see it.'
