Nikki Reimer is a writer, editor and interdisciplinary artist currently residing in Calgary, Alberta. She is author of the books DOWNVERSE (Talonbooks, 2014), [sic] (Frontenac House, 2010) and the chapbooks fist things first (Wrinkle Press 2009), haute action material (heavy industries 2010) and that stays news (Nomados 2011). [sic] was shortlisted for the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award.

Nikki is a past member of the Kootenay School of Writing collective and a past Managing Editor of EVENT magazine. She guest-edited special issues of The Incongruous Quarterly (Issue 5, November 2012) and Poetry is Dead (Issue 7, March 2013), and attended the In(ter)ventions Literary Residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts in 2013. Reimer sits on the Mountain Standard Time Performative Art Festival board and is a director of the Chris Reimer Legacy Fund Society. She is a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada and a Contributing Editor to Poetry is Dead Magazine.

She lives with her husband Jonathon and their cat Amy.
