Sean Howard is the author of three collections of poetry, Local Calls (Cape Breton University Press, 2009), Incitements (Gaspereau Press, 2011), and The Photographer's Last Pcture (Gaspereau Press, 2016). His poetry as been widely published in Canada, as well as the US, UK and elsewhere, and featured in The Best Canadian Poetry in English (Tightrope Books, 2011 & 2014). Sean was awarded the Ralph Gustafson Prize (The Fiddlehead) in 2015 and the Robin Blaser Prize (The Capilano Review) in 2012. An adjunct professor of political science at Cape Breton University, Sean lives in the lobster-fishing village of Main-à-Dieu, Cape Breton.
