Valerie Mills-Milde

Valerie Mills-Milde is the author of the novel "After Drowning" (Inanna Publication 2016) which won the Indendent Publisher Book Award's Silver Medal for Contemporary Fiction (2017). Her short stories have appeard in numerous Canadian literary magazines and the collected stories were a semi-finalist for the BLP St. Lawrence Book Award.  Her novel, "The Land's Long Reach" was released in May 2018 (Inanna Publications) and was awarded a Best Book Fiction distinction by The Miramichi Reader. When not writing, Valerie is a clinical social worker in private practice. She lives with her husband Michael in London, Ontario.
