You want to write a story. Where do you start? How do you structure it? What if you get stuck? Poet and creative writing professor Kathy Mac (St. Thomas University, Canada) answers these questions and many more in the how-to guide to prose writing, Wording Around with Prose: Getting a First Draft Out of Your Head and Onto the Page.

The book compiles Mac’s notes from an online course she volunteered to teach for the Writers Federation of New Brunswick during the COVID-19 lockdown in the spring of 2020. Students of that course called it “a good first delve into the art of writing” (from a new writer), and  “one of the best creative writing classes I have ever taken” (from an experienced one).

Wording Around with Prose is available at Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Chapters/Indigo, Kobo, Angus & Robertson, Montadori, Vivlio. For links to these platforms, go to https://books2read.com/u/bw7Y2G
