Erika Ritter was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and educated at McGill University in Montreal and the University of Toronto, specializing in drama. She lives mainly in Toronto, where she works as a playwright, radio dramatist, novelist, humourist, short fiction writer and radio broadcaster/interviewer/host.
