Rukhsana was born in Lahore, Pakistan and emigrated to Canada at the age of three. She began writing for community magazines and went on to write for Adam's World children's videos. Rukhsana is a member of CANSCAIP, SCBWI and the Storytellers School of Toronto. She lives in Toronto with her husband and has four children and a grandaughter.

Member Review
I write my TWUC membership dues every year when I get my PLR cheque, which we only have because of the advocacy of this organization. I wouldn't want to think of the kind of literary landscape we would be inhabiting without it, and can only wishfully imagine the good work that could be accomplished if every Canadian writer became a part of it.
