Biography

Salpi is a writer and illustrator of children's stories. Her primary interest is in raising awareness about the environment and inspiring children to engage with nature.

She received her MA in English Literature from the American University of Beirut in 2016. Her thesis explores the relationship between children's literature and national identity, and how narratives create a sense of belonging to a geographic space.

When she's not writing or illustrating, Salpi is hiking, practicing martial arts or enjoying time with friends and family.
