Every application must pass before the Union’s membership committee for approval. This process usually takes four to six weeks.

In the event of an unsuccessful application:

  • A traditionally published applicant will be refunded the full membership fee.
  • A self-published applicant will be refunded 50% of the membership fee (due to the additional processing required for self-published membership applications, a 50% administrative fee is deducted).
