Biography

Christine Fischer Guy is a novelist and award-winning journalist who has lived and worked in London, England. Her debut novel, The Umbrella Mender, appeared in 2014. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in Five Dials, Descant, Prairie Fire, The Queen's Quarterly, The Austin Review and the Globe and Mail. She's a fiction critic for the Globe and Mail and contributes to the LA Review of Books, The Millions, and Hazlitt. She taught creative writing at the School for Continuing Studies at University of Toronto for seven years.
