Marie Prins's picture book WHO'S WALKING DAWG? was published by Red Deer Press, 2024 and her middle grade novel THE GIRL FROM THE ATTIC by Common Deer Press 2020. Her children's short stories, memoir pieces and poetry are found in the Spirit of the Hills Writers' Anthologies - HILL SPIRITS II, III, IV, V, and VI from Blue Denim Press. Marie is a remedial reading tutor with her own private practice The Reading Room. She lives in Northumberland County, Ontario, not far from Lake Ontario in a historic, octagonal house with gardens and a pond to inspire her writing. Marie has a BA in English Literature and an ECE certificate. Once upon a time she managed/owned two bookstores in Toronto. She is married with two children and a grandchild.
