BIO
Biography

Maryanna Gabriel is the author of Walking The Camino: On Earth As It Is, and Memento: A Coastal Recipe Treasure. She has a Master in Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from the University of King’s College through Dalhousie University, and is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s, The Writer’s Studio, where she worked as a teaching assistant. She is also a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Certificate in Creative Writing. An excerpt from the book Walking The Camino: On Earth As It Is, “Get Thee To A Nunnery” was published in the journal Emerge. Maryanna has been a graphic designer and promotional writer, created websites, and ad copy. An artist, she holds a Certificate In Fine Art Techniques from Emily Carr University of Art & Design and works from an island in the Pacific Northwest.
