Biography

Kumudini Nicholas (pen name: R. E. Siliente) was born in Sri Lanka, and she currently lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  She graduated from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka with an B. Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, and landed in Nova Scotia in 1980 as the spouse of a graduate student. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Applied Science from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, and has worked as a federal public servant for over 25 years.   

She published her debut fictional memoir - Who Stole Mother's Soul? -  in April 2022 - https://www.whostolemotherssoul.com/ 

Previously, she authored several scientific research articles in peer reviewed journals, and published a Chapter in a Book, addressing toxicological concerns in pharmaceutical products.
