Presentation Description

I love to talk about incorporating personal experiences and world events into fiction, as I've done with my last two books, and the particular challenges posed by these kinds of books. (I'm Good and Other Lies is a young adult novel about, in part, a teen struggling in lockdown. Who is Tanksy?, my 2019 middle grade novel, is a satire of the 2016 US election, set at a middle school.) I'm also happy to talk about the craft of writing and the journey from idea to manuscript. I can also talk about the business of writing. Having worked as an in-house editor as well as an author, I have a unique perspective! I can tailor my presentations to middle school or high school groups.
