C Ingrid Deringer
BIO
Biography

Born in Saskatchewan, Ingrid Deringer returned to her roots a few years ago and now lives in Katepwa Beach after having lived on the East Coast, West Coast and everywhere in between. Born into a large family with enough fire in her astrological chart to light up the night sky, she’s hard to pin down. With a fearless appetite for life even in her 60’s, her quest is to experience life to the fullest.

She holds a BA in Psychology and MA in Women’s Studies and is also an Acupuncturist and Wedding Celebrant.  She has worked in the health and wellness field for over 27 years. Now semi-retired, she loves to spend winters in warm climates.

Starting in 2016, writing fiction become her passion. She has written two novels If I Could Live Again and For Love and Mercy and is currently in various stages of writing and editing three more novels. She has also written two children’s books Shall We Dance and Hailey Loves Dandelions. Ingrid also enjoys writing flash fiction and loves to perform her writing whenever and wherever she gets an audience – Author readings, book clubs and yes, even folk festivals and family reunions. You can also find her Ging Ging Designs on her greeting cards and other paraphernalia.
