Carellin Brooks
BIO
Biography

Carellin Brooks served as the BC/Yukon regional representative on TWUC National Council (2013-2015). She was born in Vancouver and has lived in Ottawa, Montreal, New York, Oxford and London, UK, San Diego, Seattle, Japan, and Salt Lake City, Utah. She has a BA from McGill and a doctorate from Oxford. Brooks previously worked as the managing editor at New Star Books in Vancouver and as an instructor of Women in Literature. She served on the Vancouver Library Board and is a lecturer in academic writing and communications in the Faculty of Foresry at the University of British Columbia.
