Carol Matas is the author of over thirty-five books for children and young adults. She has written science fiction, fantasy, contemporary, and historical fiction. She often writes on Jewish themes, and is well-known for her books concerning the Holocaust. She lives in Winnipeg and loves to travel--especially in the winter.
