Cathy Stonehouse

Cathy Stonehouse is a poet, fiction writer and occasional literary critic whose work in many genres has been published in a long list of Canadian literary journals, magazines, newspapers and anthologies. The author of a collection of short fiction, Something about the Animal (Biblioasis 2011) and two collections of poetry, Grace Shiver (Inanna Publications, 2011) andThe Words I Know (Press Gang Publishers 1994), she served as Editor of the award-winning literary journal Event from 2001 to 2004 and now teaches creative writing at various venues around the Lower Mainland. She co-edited the much-praised essay anthology Double Lives: Writing and Motherhood (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2008) and is currently working on a novel. Born and raised in the UK, Cathy Stonehouse lives in Vancouver with her husband and young daughter.
