Biography

Dana is a trained scientist who is passionate about making science accessible for both children and adults. She is the author of four nonfiction books:

She loves answering questions from the audience. She can also present about the field of animal cognition and how scientists study how animals think. Dana can also chat about her journey to becoming a published author, her writing process, and what it’s like to write nonfiction.

In-person rates: $300 for one one-hour session, $550 for two on the same day, plus a travel fee of $0.70/km. Travel costs waived in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and the townships. Virtual visit rates: $250 for one one-hour session, $200 for two
