Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail

Danielle specializes in telling hidden histories for all ages. She is a sought-after speaker, consultant, and the author or editor of four books, including the best-selling collection In This Together: Fifteen Stories of Truth and Reconciliation (Brindle & Glass, 2016). Her first picture book, Alis the Aviator: The ABCs of Flight, comes out with Tundra Books in Spring 2019. She has been writer-in-residence at Berton House in Dawson City, Yukon, and was Edmonton's Historian Laureate. She currently lives in Houston, TX where she is researching and writing a creative nonfiction book on the Charles Camsell Indian Hospital, among other projects.
