BIO
Biography
Jade Shyback spent her childhood in Western Canada: Red Deer, Nanaimo, and Innisfail. She obtained a BA in English Literature from the University of Calgary in 1996, before relocating to Southern Ontario and eventually Abu Dhabi. A former financial regulator in the United Arab Emirates, Jade now lives near Toronto with her daughters, greyhounds and cat. She's an avid beekeeper. Jade's debut dystopian YA novel, Aqueous, was published by Red Hen Press on May 2, 2023.
