Kelly Aiello

K. J. Aiello is a Toronto-based disabled writer and mental health advocate. Her work, including essays, op-eds, and book reviews has been featured in the Globe and Mail, This MagazineToronto Lifethe LoopRoom Magazine and others. She was a moderator at the 41st Toronto International Festival of Authors.

K. J. Aiello holds a BA Honours from the University of Toronto, with specializations in political science, neuroscience and psychology, all of which inform her writing. She is currently working on a trilogy of novels, and a book of essays exploring the intersection of fantasy fiction and mental illness.
